Memo Solution Co., Ltd. ("Memo", "we", "us", or "our") operates a transportation management platform for bus, taxi, and ferry operators in Cambodia. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our platform, website, or services.

By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.

What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information

  Name, email address, phone number, company name, and role when you register for an account.

• Operational data

  Trip records, fare transactions, dispatch events, vehicle telemetry, and route data generated through the platform.

• Device information

  Device identifiers, operating system version, and app version from driver and operator devices.

• Usage data

  Log files, feature usage, and performance metrics collected automatically as you use the platform.

• Communications

  Messages and support requests you send to our team.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Memo platform
• Process fare transactions and generate ledger- grade audit trails
• Send operational alerts, dispatch instructions, and service notifications
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Analyze usage patterns to improve product features
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not use your operational data for advertising purposes and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Data sharing and disclosure

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted vendors who assist in operating our infrastructure (cloud hosting, monitoring, error tracking). All vendors are bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: When required by Cambodian law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.

Data retention

We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Trip and transaction records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to meet audit and regulatory requirements.

Upon account termination, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes.

Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. All data is double-written across regions to prevent loss.
